We take being an easy company to work with very seriously and are constantly developing our customer support to offer more services, free, to customers.

What do I need to set up the cloud service?

In order to use the Lux Intelligent Cloud service and mobile/web apps you first need to make your Lux Intelligent emergency lighting test data available to the Lux Intelligent Cloud.

To do this you should have a dedicated PC running the Logger tool, connected to your panel(s) via a serial of LAN connection.  The LAN connection is achieved by using a MOXA NPort device.

Your monitoring PC should also have access to the internet in order to upload the data into the Lux Intelligent cloud.

We can provide you with everything you need to setup your Lux Intelligent Cloud service.

What does the Lux Intelligent cloud service do?

The Lux Intelligent Cloud service extracts emergency lighting status and test result information from the Logger Tool, which sits on an internet connected PC, using the Lux Intelligent Synch Agent, and aggregates it into your own secure my.LuxIntelligent.com account.  From here you can access your data via our Lux Intelligent mobile/tablet app, or via your web browser.

You can also share the data from your sites and panels with colleagues, and generate reports for you facilities team, maintenance engineers and other interested parties.

The Lux Intelligent Cloud solution gives you reporting options significantly richer than those available through the Logger desktop application, as well as giving you real time data at your fingertips whether you are on or off site.

The improved reporting schemes include:

  • A traffic light status monitor showing you at a glance the status of your entire emergency lighting network
  • Ability to view current status issues by type, i.e. Low Light, Low/High Battery, Lost Comms, No Mains etc
  • View luminaires by Panel, Loop or Zone
  • Generate test reports, maintenance reports and advisory reports for a group of sites through to individual panels.

What is the Lux Intelligent Cloud Service

The Lux Intelligent Cloud service allows you to view and share real time system status and test information from your Lux Intelligent Emergency Lighting Test System on smartphones, tablets and internet connected computers.

It makes managing a compliant emergency lighting more efficient, convenient and cost effective and less time intensive.

The Cloud service securely stores your historic and real time system data and allows you to view it and interrogate it from site, panel and loop to device, from anywhere in the world, whether you have one panel or manage many Lux Intelligent systems across multiple sites around the world.

It allows you to share status or maintenance information with the people who maintain your local sites or systems. You can share entire sites or panels with partners and send reports from device level upwards.

What batteries does the panel require?

To ensure the panel operates fully during a mains power outage, the panel will run off two 12 Volt 7AHr VRLA type batteries monitoring the system over a three hour forced discharge.  This is for a fully utilized panel.

Do you have photometric data for your lights?

Yes, spacing data and photometric data files (.LDT and .IES formats) are available for the Lux Intelligent range.  These can be downloaded through Advanced360, and are also available via our luminaire range pages.
