What standards is Lux Intelligent approved to?

The Lux Intelligent emergency lighting test panel is designed to meet the requirements of BS EN 62034.

ICEL, the emergency lightingarem of the Lighting Industry Federation (LIF) believes that consideration should always be given to installing automatic emergency lighting testing systems conforming to BS EN 62034 because of their reliability and cost effectiveness.

Manual testing of an emergency lighting system can be expensive and disruptive, therefore the deployment of an Automatic testing solution can solve these problems cost effectively by regularly checking the status of the system and individual luminaires.

What responsibilities do I have regarding emergency lighting?

The Regulatory Reform Order puts the legal responsibility for the provision, ongoing maintenance and regular testing of emergency lighting installations firmly with the senior directors of the businesses occupying buildings.  It also applies to many public building such as hospitals, universities, colleges and local government.
